Although much of the work done by In His Hands is international, we are committed to helping children here in the US. Current research indicates that there are more than 415,000 children in the US foster care system. In His Hands works to support foster care in the following ways.
In His Hands holds bimonthly meetings and exhibits at local conferences to spread awareness of the orphan crisis that impacts our local communities, and to serve as a resource for families who are considering foster care. If you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent, please contact Michelle@InHisHandsOrphans.org.
We provide practical support by holding biannual supply drives for kids in the US foster care system. Book bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, soap, shampoo, snacks, small stuffed animals and more are donated to foster children in our local communities. If you would like to be involved in our next supply drive, or have items to donate, please contact Michelle@InHisHandsOrphans.org.
