In His Hands has committed to building an orphan village in Haiti to house children in need to food, shelter, and schooling. We are currently raising money to purchase 7 acres of land. Please watch our VIDEO about this amazing project.
Enos Park Neighborhood Improvement Association is generously giving a home to In His Hands Orphans Outreach to renovate, thereby renovating the Enos Park Neighborhood while all proceeds from the home will be used to purchase designated land in Haiti for Orphan homes. The mission of both non-profit organizations will be realized from this partnership through the principle of Neighborhood Transformation (NT). NT is a strategy which helps churches minister in a holistic manner to people in urban poor neighborhoods. It empowers people to take responsibility for their own lives. It helps neighbors to help their neighbors and moves them from welfare and relief to empowerment.
In his Hands, through its volunteers, will complete the home renovation by leveraging the skills, assets and resources of Rochester Christian Church members, church partnerships, willing Enos Park neighbors, skilled professionals and numerous community partnerships. The project will be supervised by skilled, certified trades professionals to restore this historic home resulting in a completely renovated, single family home.

If you were to choose to not eat out once a month, you could feed, clothe, medicate and educate an orphan in Sierra Leone, Africa.
Does that sound unrealistic? It is reality.
For $45 a month, you can cover the cost of all those things for a child at Children’s Redemption Orphanage Home. Or, for $30 a month you can cover the cost of food.
Would you consider supporting a child on a monthly basis? Would you consider sacrificing in a small way so big things can happen in one of their lives?
Orphans in China are in serious need of a place to rest their heads while they sleep. Solid wood bunk beds that will last for years can be constructed for only $250.00.
Those same children are allowed to eat out once a year at McDonald's. Also, they are given a single present at Christmas. Ten dollars covers the expense of both.
Would you consider purchasing a bunk bed or meal and present for a fatherless child? Donate Now.
The purpose of our Summer Hosting Program is to find loving adoptive homes for all of the children. Applications must be submitted to determine eligibility. Priority will be given to those considering adoption. For people interested in hosting but not adopting, they must be strongly committed to finding an adoptive family for the child they host.
Once orphans turn 5, they only have a 5% chance of ever being adopted. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to at least help change the lives of 10 children who would likely never have a family if they didn’t get the chance to be part of the hosting program. Before the children come, all host parents will be provided with training, so that they will know what to expect.
In August, 2010, we had eight children from the Philippines come stay with host families in the central IL area for three weeks. The program included several fun activities including picnics, water park, zoo, and boat ride. If you are interested in participating in future hosting programs, please look over our Hosting Brochure for eligibility requirements.
We had our second hosting program on July 25, 2011. Central Illinois families and families in the St. Louis, Missouri area were selected to host children for three weeks. The program was a wonderful success and most of our host families are currently in the process of adopting their child(ren).
We will be holding TWO hosting programs in June, 2014, bringing children from the Philippines and China. If you are interested in being a host family and would like more information, please contact Michelle McGowan.
Gulu is in northern Uganda, an area ravaged by HIV/AIDS and a 20+ year civil war that has seen an unknown multitude of people killed, children forced into a rebel army, and families ripped apart. To say there is a need for orphan care in Uganda would be a dramatic understatement. In His Hands is raising funds to support the construction of five orphan homes. The homes will be built by local Ugandans and will house approximately 50 children.
Take a look at our Christmas booklet to see how you can help the children of Uganda and furnish these orphan homes.
